Please take 3 minutes to enjoy this Visual piece I created for ALO WALA'S latest release 'PARALYZED'. I had an amazing time and allot of fun working with top talent from all over the world, literally. It's a good starting point when the content is original and inspiring like fresh biscuits out the oven.
It might already be 89 degrees F in both New York and in Jamaica, but im here to add a little heat to the summer with this peek into a collaboration going on with yours truly and Gitman vintage. It's a small capsule collection made of Gitman's classic time tested and high quality Oxford shirts, paired with select visual elements from Jamil GS that make up the Nectar universe. In addition, a copy of the Nectar magazine issue 01 will be available exclusively to the happy buyers of the shirts from the capsule collection. Each style is walking art, and the magazine is a piece of art. That's a double upside. Stay tuned for more int he product. Available in select stores early 2016.
Some of you know that I have been working with Alo Wala on their visual direction and its been fun. The work has extended into some management and they just dropped another EP recently that was premiered by The Fader. http://www.thefader.com/2015/05/04/alo-wala-flex-their-international-bass-music-sound-with-vibrate-to-win-ep
Here’s what they say: A female Punjabi-Indian rapper from Chicago + a pair of Danish producers = heat. - The Fader
“Pitbull be damned; Alo Wala is making international music in its truest sense” - The Fader
I think you’ll enjoy it and I’d like you to be part of the journey as they are onto some new frequencies.
I recently completed this video for ALO WALA. I'm feeling the tune allot so it was inspiring to create to. The band is mad talented and so is the crew I worked with to complete the video from scratch to completion. I hope you'll enjoy it!
